We stayed 5 nights in mid-July in the Grand Large (in the smaller, seafront building), and loved our apt/hotel room. It was large (with a main bedroom/kitchen/sitting area, an alcove with bunkbed, and separate toilet/bathroom, and two or more closets), comfortable, well equipped (with full kitchen for cooking), and in a great location in the town and overlooking the surfers’ beach just below. Shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, etc. were all a short walk away. Wifi worked well. Reception staff was friendly and helpful - provided great recommendations for restaurants. We often sat on our balcony for meals/drinks, watching the ocean – with the only drawback being the INCREDIBLY noisy motorbikes/mopeds screaming by on the road below day and night (which meant we had to close the window at night and turn on the AC to sleep). We were able to do laundry for a reasonable charge in the basement laundry room in the main building. We did not use the pool but noticed that it was very popular - busy and noisy with kids most days. We would definitely stay here again, and I would like to try it another (less busy) time of year.

The hotel is situated in the very centre of Biarritz, close to the ocean coast. The apartment has everything for having a good rest for some days. There is a little kitchenette with all the amenities you need for cooking. If you don't want to cook on vacations there are plenty of restaurants and cafes only 3-5 min by walk. The city market with extremely fresh seafood is very near, the same 3-5 min by walk. The room, the shower and the toilette were clean enough and cosy furnished. The room had a sea view and it was an amazing view.

The rooms were well fitted out and very comfortable with great views of the sea and shoreline; it turned out that the seals I could see were, in fact, surfers. It's a short walk downhill to the Old Port and its numerous shops, bars and restaurants or uphill to the town centre and more shops, bars and restaurants. Keep walking and one ends up at the Old Port etc, etc. It's a charming, cosmopolitan town with some beautiful architecture and a lovely, lively ambiance.

Nice, comfortable, clean, and cheerfully decorated studio for a family of 4. Well equipped with everything needed for eating in. Very helpful, friendly and polite staff on reception who allowed use of pool and ping pong throughout both days of our check in and out. Perfect English speaking which was very helpful for our very limited French. Wonderful, warm pool. View from our balcony of the lighthouse and the sea at La Grande Plage over the rooftops of Les Halles. Great location - central but not noisy. Exceptional value - money saved to be spent on the delicious food in Biarritz. Short walks to fantastic restaurants, Les Halles fish and produce market, bars, boulangeries, supermarket, shopping etc, all 5 minutes or less away. Easy access to surfing and swimming at Plage de la Côte des Basques through the sloping Tamarisk gardens with great views and seating on the way down to this beach - just cross 1 road to get there. So easy. The 36 airport bus stops less than 10 minutes walk away at Jardin Public. Approximately 20 minute ride to the airport - approx 5 euros for our for our family of 4. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The staff were really helpful and made some recommendations and explained a bit about the city centre. The room was like a little holiday resort apartment. There was a kitchen with everything you need, even a coffee machine. Our room had a sea view which was absolutely beautiful. Would really recommend this hotel for families

Location is great. Close to the centre of town, market, restaurants and coastal walkways. Hotel suite was equipped to cover all basic needs, including small kitchenette and a dining table for four, dining dishes and some cooking equipment. Best built -in wardrobe we’ve seen in a hotel, would be very convenient storage space for a family. Large balcony with a view of town and the sea, had enough space for a table and chairs, drying rack and storage for a surfing board. Heated outdoor swimming pools is fantastic. Breakfast was very nice. We were impressed how well thought out the suite was.

Close to the centre, shops, cafés and restaurants. Close to Port Vieux Beach and Cotes des Basques Beach. The balcony had a fabulous seaview. The pool was heated. The studio had a kitchenette with sink, kettle, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, stove top and an array of kitchen cutlery, plates, pans, etc. Carrefour supermarket was a 5 minute walk away.
